Katherine Gets Sunny as We Gear Up for Sunday
Katherine Heigl was just a barrel of sunshine with her yellow shirt and big
smile as she and Josh Kelley grabbed lunch at En Sushi in Los Feliz on Thursday.
Katherine made sure that she won't be in the running for an Emmy this Sunday,
but we'll have to wait and see if she comes out to support her Grey's Anatomy
costars before the big season premiere next week — check out new clips here.
Whether or not she decides to take another opportunity to show off her red
carpet style, you should all participate in the Emmy fun by filling out a ballot
for your chance to win a prize!.
Screenwriters ‘drawn’ to Heigl’s next
Keith Merryman and David A. Newman will write Fox 2000’s upcoming action comedy
“Drawn Together” for Katherine Heigl, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Details are strictly being kept under wraps, but what we know is that the flick
focuses on an electronics designer who meets the woman of his dreams, only to
find out that she's not who she seems to be.
Oh, and Heigl will produce the project with her mother Nancy. But yeah, that’s
pretty much all there is to say about it at this stage. Doesn’t sound all too
exciting to me.
Anyway, the good-looking Heigl last starred in Anne Fletcher’s passable romance
“27 Dresses.” She will next be seen alongside Gerard Butler in Robert Luketic’s
“The Ugly Truth.
Heigl Set For Potential Chuck Ripoff
Katherine Heigl-- inexplicably America's new romantic comedy sweetheart--- has a
new project lined up, and it sounds at first blush an awful lot like the NBC
series Chuck. Maybe it's just because I've been watching that show a lot lately,
since I'm reviewing the season 1 DVD, but tell me the concept for Drawn Together
doesn't sound familiar: "The film centers on an electronics designer who meets
the woman of his dreams, only to find out that she's not who she seems to be. "
Doesn't that sound an awful lot like the first episode of Chuck, when an
electronics store employee meets the woman of his dreams, only to find out that
she's actually a CIA agent? The Hollywood Reporter has the story on the project,
which is written by Keith Merryman and David A. Newman.
Writers hired for Heigl's 'Drawn Together'
Fox 2000 has hired Keith Merryman and David A. Newman to script Katherine Heigl
vehicle Drawn Together. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is an
action comedy focusing on an electronics designer who meets a woman hiding a
secret about herself. Heigl and her mother Nancy will produce the movie. Robert
Kosberg and Bruce Nash, who originated the idea, are to serve as (more).
